At the end of April we decided to get married and we definitely wanted to do that abroad, preferably on the coast. As we both love Italy we soon made our choice. We searched the web and found Renske’s website. We did not find any locations on the coast on her site and therefore we sent her an email. She told us she knew a location and soon sent us some photos of Lerici, a village we had never visited, but it looked absolutely beautiful.

After a few telephone calls we decided to get on with it. Within 4 months everything was taken care of into detail. On Friday before our wedding we gave notice of the intended marriage and of course Renske was also present. After that we visited the locations and met all the people who would be present on our big day. In fact we then realized that we would really get married, but it was perfect !

The day itself we and our family and friends will never forget, it was really like a fairy tale. We got married on the terrace of the castle of Lerici and it was the perfect location. A beautiful view on the harbour and on the sea. In our opinion it could not have been more beautiful. After the ceremony we drank a toast on the terrace of Bar Corona, beautifully situated at the harbour and we had a delicious wedding cake. We had our photos taken by the photographer who was present all day. After that we and our guests went to a nice restaurant, specialized in fish, where we had a wonderful meal.

And finally we had a fantastic party at Bar Bahia. Our own DJs were allowed to play their music, without us having to hire the whole bar. In this way there was a big party on the terrace also enjoyed by a number of Italians who were present in Bar Bahia, which was actually very nice !

Renske saw to it that everything was organized perfectly. We really had the day(in fact weekend) of our lives !

Jos and Nicole – 18 June 2011 Siena

Over a year before we got married we met Renske at a beautiful location in San Casciano en we had a good feeling while we were getting acquainted. Quite spontaneously we conceived the plan to celebrate our wedding in Italy at a location where we had been on holiday a few times, but we had to work our this plan. After our conversation with Renske the ideas about our wedding day were beginning to take shape and we decided that it was too special to enjoy only one day. Together we planned a whole weekend, completely to our wishes. Because I organize events myself, it was very nice to let someone else take the organization off my hands for the greater part, someone on the same wavelength. Due to a pleasant communication and a good preparation w could let things take their course on the wedding day and we were able to enjoy everything.

We had been looking forward to it for months and visualized a beautiful wedding but at the moment itself everything was even more beautiful than we dared to dream of. What a pity that dream could not last……bit we have a memory for life ! We still relish the memory of that special day in Siena, the emotional ceremony and the special atmosphere when the pictures were taken in the narrow streets of Siena. Enthusiastic people all around, we felt like movie stars for a moment. The food was delicious, the party in the garden in San Casciano was so relaxed and had atmosphere, exactly as we had hoped for.

Renske, by your efficient way of working, good service and personal approach, not only we but also our 60 guests enjoyed a fantastic weekend, which we are even now talking about daily. Everything was just right, you had a good feeling of the atmosphere that suited us. We have an experience we will never forget, thanks a million !

Marcel and Natasja – 12 June 2011 Bucine

“Il nostro matrimonio in Toscana”
July 2010 proposal of marriage in Italy. Three cheering daughters ! Looking forward to a fantastic party. Are we going to invite our Italian friends to come to the Netherlands or are we bringing along our Dutch family to Italy ? It did not take us long to decide.
We searched for a fantastic location in the middle of Tuscany and decided it would be the beautiful location Bucine, because there we could enjoy with all our friends and family the Italian warmth in beautiful little houses.
Then we went looking for a wedding planner. Via the web we found Renske. From the first mail contact we have had a click with one other. Renske has so many good ideas, knows the right people and organizes everything fantastically. Each mail was a relief, because step by step, month after month she organized the right things. We wanted a typicallly Italian wedding. Thursday 9 June 2011 we gave notice of the intended marriage, Friday 10 June to the hairdresser’s for a trial hair-style. Saturday 11 June the arrival of all Dutch guests. Chatting in a relaxed atmosphere, swimming and enjoying delicious food.
12 June 2011 Whitsunday, our wedding. On the estate among cypresses and olive trees friends and family take their seats. In front of the castle in the sun with harp and violin music in the background we say “I will” to one other. In Italian with an English touch. After that a delicious Italian lunch in a luxurious party tent with piano music and a singer who sings beautiful Italian songs. An animation team with an air cushion for the children in the background. In the evening a buffet and after that a smashing party with a DJ.
The photographer from Tuscany and the film crew were there from early in the morning to late at night to record everything. Renske, who takes care of everything into detail. Even our Italian friends are impressed by our party (and ask Renske for her visiting card). Our family and friends had a great time and together we look back to a fantastic weekend.
After that we delivered our documents at the Registry Office and the City of The Hague and we are officially married in The Netherlands as well.
We shall miss the mails and telephone calls; Renske you have really organized everything fantastically. A real professional !

Giacomo and Martine – 11 June 2011 Volterra

Each year we visit beautiful Tuscany, where we have always told each other: if we ever get married, it will be here…..!
And on 11 June 2011 the time had finally come ! For a long time we have fantasized about how we would celebrate our wedding: spending a long weekend with our family and best friends in our beloved Tuscany, with beautiful weather, delicious food and superb wines ! We would get married in the town hall of a centuries-old town, we would drink champagne and cut the wedding cake in the streets and we would be cheered by the Italians.
While searching for someone who could support us in making this beautiful dream come true, we soon noticed that there are a lot of companies available, so….which do you choose ? When we contacted Renske we immediately felt good about her personal approach and about the fact that she lives in Italy ! In this way she was at close quarters and she could actively assist us during the wedding day itself. We considered this a very important advantage. In fact Renske was our Italian “best man”. That gave us a good and relaxed feeling and we enjoyed our wedding day without having to worry about anything.
And that was not the only thing, Renske was also there during the making of the trial hair-style, the visit to the photographer, when we gave notice of the intended marriage and of course during the ceremony itself, she translated everything into Dutch (which was nice for our not-English-speaking guests). Renske offers very good service, has a large web and can organize everything you can think of, even if it is very last-minute ! For example when we forgot having lunch before the ceremony Renske quickly provided us with some sandwiches ! We were also quite satisfied with the services Renske had arranged: the hairdresser, the photographer, the sound equipment, the wedding cake….everything was super ! Renske, thanks a million for your support, thinking along with us and your dedication. We have enjoyed everything immensely, it was even more beautiful than we dreamed of and we think back to it with a big smile every day !

Raymond and Tanja Riet – 22 May 2011 Panzano in Chianti

Our wedding was a fairy tale. On Sunday 22 May 2011 we got married at a remote location near the village Panzano in Chianti. We got married in the garden of a magnificent ancient restored farmhouse in the heart of Chianti, beautifully situated with a panoramic view on the surrounding hills. The garden was in full bloom, it was absolutely splendid. A very romantic location, we can really recommend it.
At this location we stayed for one week with our small group of guests. The weather was beautiful all week and we frequently used the swimming pool. The whole week, but especially our wedding day was a fairy tale. It was very special to celebrate our wedding with a small intimate group of people in such beautiful surroundings. Not only we, but also our guests have experienced this week as a fairy tale. Renske, you took care of everything into detail and we were not worried about anything for one moment. Thanks a million for everything !

Dear Renske,
How to make our dream come true…….to get married in Italy. After a short search on the internet we found your website and it immediately appealed to us. During our email contact it turned out that we could express our wishes and you were going to find out what you could do for us. You did find out and you just organized everything.
On 21 April the time had come, we said “I will” to one another in Lucca in the beautiful wedding room Sala Verde. Two days before we had given notice of the intended marriage and we were impressed by the tour you gave us in this beautiful town. Our wedding day surpassed all expectations, you took care of everything into detail.
To us it really was an unforgettable day. We often look at the pictures of the fantastic photographer, also hired by you and dream off for some time.

Going to Italy In the autumn, just recovering and relaxing in Tuscany, we had in mind. A few months before, in May, we had decided to get married. We thought of combining this.
The photo you see above is the result. To us it was a perfect wedding, it went exactly, as we had in mind for the greater part thanks to Renske who made these 4 days unforgettable. Tjesse and Tahnee – 23 September 2010

Dear Renske,
Our wish was to get married in a place where there would be sunny weather and where we could enjoy delicious food. Where we all could celebrate our wedding in a special way. Italy and especially Tuscany was the ideal location for us.

In September 2010 our dream came true en we got married in Certaldo Alto. With our friends and family, 14 people all together, it was an intimate and fairy- like day. In fact it was a fairy- tale almost all week because everybody stayed in San Donato near San Gimignano. We have tremendously enjoyed every second for 100%.

We want to thank you very much for taking such good care of us and organizing all important matters, which would not have been so successful without you ! Our emails and telephone conversations put our minds to rest. After a meeting at your place we knew for sure: you had to be our wedding planner ! Wonderful that you organize weddings for other people and we hope you will organize many more weddings in future ! Thanks to you our super wedding day went smoothly and even more important, carefree.

Jasper and Denise – 9 September 2010 San Miniato

On 9 September 2010 we got married in picturesq San Miniato. A wonderful experience which we can recommend to everybody. It has always been a dream to get married abroad and we did not hesitate to choose Tuscany; who does not want to get married in one of the most romantic places on earth !
After a year of preparation and a lot of contact with Renske the time had finally come. On 8 September we and our family arrived in San Miniato on the magnificent rural estate “Sandra” where we stayed together for three days. Thank you for finding it, Renske, we could not have wished for a more beautiful place.
9 September it was our big day ! After the wedding ceremony in the town hall of San Miniato we and our guests went to Tenuta Nicole and while enjoying some appetizers we toasted to this fantastic and beautiful day. After the visit to Tenuta Nicole we had an aperitif at the estate “Sandra”, where we enjoyed a delicious meal. The catering was really taken care of down to the last detail ! After our family had left we as newly-weds have enjoyed everything which Tuscany has to offer: delicious food, beautiful cities and villages and of course the nice weather !
Every day we think about this marvelous and beautiful experience which also thanks to Renske is unforgettable to us and our family ! Fortunately we have the photos to look back on this day. Our photos arrived very quickly, so that we could show them on our party in the Netherlands !

We had a few important conditions for our wedding: nice weather, delicious food, beautiful surroundings and friendly people. In our opinion that is only possible in one region: Tuscany
It is an absolute “must” to involve a good wedding planner. She knows the language, the people, the locations. From the beginning Renske showed us she could organize the perfect wedding for us. She only needs a few words to come up with good ideas and suggestions, ideal at a long distance. During one year of preparations our contact was perfect, with a “meet and greet” in the beginning of March 2010, to look at the location.

On 14 July 2010 we got married at a vineyard in beautiful San Miniato. There were 13 people present in a magnificent minuscule church, situated on a grand rural estate of a wine producer. We had lunch under the trees with a fantastic view on the surrounding hills, informal, classic, delicious food, while a cellist and a violinist were playing music.

We and our family have enjoyed the relaxed and informal atmosphere during the wedding day; to us it was a dream that came true. Renske had organized everything perfectly and she saw to it that we could look forward to our wedding without a care and on the day itself we did not have to worry about a thing. She took almost everything off our hands; Renske thanks very much for everything !! It is a pity it is over, but fortunately we have the photos, which we received very quickly, so that we could show them on our party in the Netherlands !

Arno and Sanne – San Miniato 22 May 2010

Three unforgettable days !
Marrying in Italy, to us a dream which has come true. On 22 May 2010 we got married in San Miniato, a picturesq Italian village, upon a hill overlooking the characteristic views of Tuscany. We had three fantastic days. In the sun we enjoyed the Italian hospitality together with our friends and family. We enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan hills, the historic towns and of course the fantastic Italian food and wine !
We are very happy to have found Renske as our wedding planner. She takes care of all the paperwork perfectly in time and sees to all the things that have to be organized for a wedding in a way that suits all people concerned. During the nine months of preparation we were on very friendly terms with her. Renske is very nice and supportive and sees to it that everything goes according to plan and that all people concerned are informed in time. She also offers you the opportunity and liberty to make it your special day, which in our case wasn’t always up to the standard wishes and really required creativity. The advise she gave us to record everything on video was super. We can recommend this to everyone, because in this way you can enjoy your wedding day again.
Our wedding started on Friday afternoon on the Italian country estate with a sumptuous “aperitivo” in the beautiful evening sun and after that fresh pizzas. It felt like a holiday because every body stayed the night at the estate. On Saturday we got married in San Miniato, a beautiful wedding ceremony in a magnificent room with many frescos and enough space for our 55 guests. After that we enjoyed a delicious lunch in the sun with a view of the Tuscan hills. The “aperitivo” and the Italian dinner of 7 courses were served on the estate where we had a view of beautiful Lucca. Many speeches, glasses of wine and delicious courses later it was time for a great party in the wine cellar of the estate. Unti l 4 in the morning we were on the dancefloor and immensely enjoyed it. The following morning everyone had breakfast at his own pace at the swimming pool with a view of the olive trees and we could stay and talk about the wedding day. Fortunately we stayed an extra night with our family, so that we could relish the memory. The next day we went on our Italian honeymoon in Orvieto and the Amalfi coast. We had a super one-month holiday !
Renske, thanks again for all your support, it was unforgettable !

Lennart and Chantal – Florence 8 May 2010

We have gone on holiday to Italy with great pleasure for 13 years. The first 5 years we went together and after that with our daughters. Italy feels like a second home, so we have not thought long about our wedding venue.
We had an idea to rent an accommodation in Tuscany for all the people who are dear to us and to share all nice and wonderful things of this beautiful region with them. We contacted Renske and from the first moment we spoke to her, we had a click and we felt everything would be all right. She was a great support in finding the right accommodation, the wedding cake (from a very nice Italian baker), buses for the guests, the best photographer, musicians, all official documents, the nanny for the children during the party etc. She knew exactly what we wanted. Renske you were fantastic ! Thanks again for everything. It was a marvellous day, we will never forget our wedding day and the days we spent with our family and friends.

Thanks !

It has always been our dream to marry in Italy. After the proposal you start thinking about all the things that enter into this. The Italians feel very strongly about love, but it is not easy to organise a wedding. There are a lot of organisations that claim to take care of everything, but Renske was the fastest, nicest and most enthusiastic of them all, so it wasn’t difficult for us to make a decision. Fortunately the paperwork wasn’t too complicated, but we wouldn’t have managed without the help of Renske who speaks Italian fluently (in our ears, that is….). Besides she lives in Italy and that is really an advantage, she knows exactly how things work. She has organised a carefree civil marriage, a wonderful lunch, the most delicious wedding cake we have ever eaten and an excellent photographer. Our day was a success and certainly came up to the dreams we had about marrying in Italy !

It was fun, wasn’t it ! It is a pity that it was only one day (and in general you marry only once in a lifetime), but we can look back on a super fantastic day.

Rogier & Corianne - Castellina in Chianti 20 August 2009

Dear Renske,

We would like to thank you again for your effort in organizing our perfect and unforgettable wedding day and our stay in Toscane.

You managed to organize all the things you need for a wonderful wedding, exactly according to our wishes. You suggested many great options and we are glad to have chosen for the town hall of Castellina in Chianti.

We were both very relaxed that day, because you pulled the strings from beginning to end and took care of every detail. The flowers, the hairdresser, the beautician, the transport of our guests, the top location of our lunch etc.

Without your help we would never have managed to organize the days around our wedding day so well. Finding and booking the beautiful house where we stayed with our family and friends for a week. Chef Mimmo Baldi and his assistants who cooked for us daily at the premises. The wine tasting and dinner with the hospitable family in Fattoria Santo Stefano in Greve. The group Trio Radio Marelli who gave a fantastic performance in the garden of our house and the camera team who recorded everything in a beautiful way.

We are happy with the way you organized all the things that had to be done before the wedding. You took on the bureaucratic paperwork perfectly so we only had to put our signatures to the forms. Thanks to your effort and organization everything went smoothly and, even more important, we didn't have to worry about a thing.

Mark & Mariska - Lucca 7 August 2009

On 7 August 2009 we got married in beautiful Lucca in the presence of our darling daughter Jasmijn, dear family and friends. It was a fantastic experience which we can warmly recommend to everybody.

To us it was really a dream which has come true. We wanted to get married abroad, but where exactly……..we didn’t know yet. Until we found Renske’s website; we immediately knew it would be Tuscany. We had a lot of contact with Renske by mail, skype and telephone about the day’s programme. Renske came up with very good ideas, possibilities, alternatives, if needed. And in reality everything was possible. Nothing was taking it too far. Renske’s support in organizing our wonderful day was really super.

On 2 August we arrived in Agriturismo Massarella, a wonderful accommodation with very friendly and welcoming people. That night we arranged our wedding dinner together with Renske. Two days before our wedding we gave notice of the intended wedding in Lucca and this was also perfectly organized by Renske.
Because of this the wedding day itself has run smoothly. After the wedding ceremony in Lucca we went to a restaurant with our guests and we enjoyed an excellent lunch. The dinner in our accommodation in Masserella was also superb. Carla, the owner is a real top chef !

All our guests (over thirty people) stayed in the accommodation which we had booked. Fantastic ! After our guests had left, we newly-weds enjoyed all beautiful Tuscany has to offer: lovely people, delicious food, beautiful towns and villages and of course glorious weather !

When we arrived home after two weeks our documents were already available, so that we could register our marriage in The Netherlands right away. All was taken care of perfectly. Every day we still enjoy the wonderful experience which also thanks to Renske is unforgettable to us all. Thanks a million !

On the 3rd of May 2009 we got married in the wonderful garden of a castle close to Certaldo. A special double wedding for us and our families. We are two couples united because the men are brothers. Their strong bond, has made us decide to marry together in the presence of our beloved. Renske helped us to find a fantastic location where we experienced a great weekend with a small group. We had nice and spacious apartments and everybody had enough privacy and luxury. Not only the apartments were beautiful, but also the terrace, the view, the castle, the swimming pool and the wonderful gardens. Renske took care of all our wishes and organized everything well and therefore everybody had a great weekend. Especially the wedding day was above our expectations. Freek & Mirella - 2 May 2009 Volterra

We were fired at, we slept in our sleeping bags with jumpers against the cold, we cycled against the hills, but we also ate pasta, drank Chianti, sat in the sun among grey olive trees and walked through the past in small fortress towns when we cycled through Tuscany. Since then we have fallen in love. With the cypresses and the sun, the people and the Bialetti, and even a little more with each other.When we decided to get married abroad, just the two of us with our two little daugthers, we chose Volterra, to us the most beautiful town of Tuscany. It was a wonderful day. Unforgettable was the walk - bride, groom and our little bridemaids all dressed up– along the Viale dei Ponti to the Piazza dei Priori while people passed hooting and shouting 'auguri', the intimate ceremony with the mayor and K3 in the wedding hall of the palazzo, the fotoshoot in the hills in the grass, the concluding dinner with a sleeping daugher who only woke up for the ice-cream. Thanks to Renske – weddingplanner, travelagent, interpreter, baby-sitter and hostess at the same time - everything was simply arranged. Marc & Angela - 30 April 2009 San Miniato

Our wedding day in San Miniato 30 April 2009.We have been together since since we were 17 and we just didn't get round to get married, after all we were already together such a long time ! We told each other that if we would get married, if we would ever get married, it should be a very special day on holiday!! Until that day at the beginning of 2008 I heard some bad news... That same year we went on a holiday to Italy with our children to relax for a while, to enjoy nature and eachother and of course our children! In Venice Mark spoke some very special words to me and showed me two shiny rings, inscribed with "Eternity" and he asked me to marry him! We wanted to get married the in Italy the following year... We searched on the internet and found Renske's website, our super-weddingplanner!! We communicated in a very pleasant way by email and sometimes by telephone and talked about our wishes and she made things possible for us in Italy. We fantasized that our wedding day would be a fairy-tale, with our own children as "brides-children"... On Thursday 30 April 2009 we said 'Yes I do' to each other in the beautiful San Miniato (Tuscany). Renske has made a dream-wedding of our fairy-tale, an unforgettable, beautiful day the memory of which we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives!! Thanks Renske, for your great care. Mark & Amber - 27 September 2008 Certaldo

Mark and I were married in Certaldo in Tuscany on the 27th of September 2008. From the very beginning we have felt good about working with Renske. Mark asked me to marry him on the 2nd of March 2008 and we wanted to get married that same year.Most couples start organizing their wedding at least one year before the big day, but with Renske's assistance we have made our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives within 6 months. Renske always listened to us very carefully. She gave us various suggestions for each detail. Despite the fact that we were in Holland, she gave us a clear idea of what our options were. She has a vast network and therefore she can offer offer many services with flexibility. Everything was arranged perfectly: from the wrist corsage to the vegetarian dinners for some of our guests.I immediately liked she picked up the phone at the very beginning. Sometimes it is easier to talk on the phone and explain things instead of sending everthing by email.Renske has supported us in a fantastic way and also she interpreted from Italian wonderfully during the ceremony. She also recommended some nice accommodations to our guests, who wanted to stay in Tuscany a few more days. We would like to advise all of you to get married in beautiful Tuscany, and you can easily organize this together with Renske, then you are sure that your wedding day will be the best day of your life!
